I never know what to write in these damn things… Guess I’ll just start by saying; Hi! I’m Taylor. I’m a 27 year old photographer from the beautiful San Diego. I’ve been in love with photography ever since I picked up my first camera when I was 11. It’s crazy to think that it meant enough to me to be still taking photos 16 years later. When I really think about it, I trip out on how crazy it is that I’m literally doing what I was born to do. I’m so lucky that I found something that I truly, deeply love. (Anyone catch that Star Wars reference? 10 points if you did.) Not everyone is fortunate enough to make a career out of something they’re genuinely passionate about. I’m so grateful that I did, because I honestly don’t know what the hell I would do if photography wasn’t an option. Thankfully I don’t have to worry about that.
A little about myself; I’m super laid back. People often think I’m really serious or quiet, but get to know me, I’m not 😉 There’s probably not much I love more than sitting somewhere with an amazing view, watching the sunset, watching it transition into night and laying under the moon. Ugh, it’s my favorite. If there’s the opportunity- I’m probably shoeless. I’m vegan, have been for a couple years now. If I could live off of thai food I would. I LOVE dogs, if I see a dog on the street I WILL pet it. And most likely talk to it in a really annoying voice. I love adventure of all kinds, the bigger the better. I’m a certified skydiver, that’s my newest and most exciting adventure. I love complimenting people I don’t know and seeing how they react and how good it makes them feel. I’ve seen every Friends episode at least 10 times each, and still laugh like I’ve never seen it before. My life goal is to build a yurt in a remote area, live off the grid and just travel the world like a photography nomad. Basically all I want to do is travel, take photos, do yoga, eat good food, meet cool people, pet dogs, and jump out of planes. Things are lookin’ good so far 😉
If you got this far, thank you for taking the time to get to know me a lil’ bit.
I want to get to know you.
